Speaking to O Heraldo on condition of anonymity, the residents have claimed that these anti-social elements in the ward have made life a nuisance for the locals.

In the complaint, a resident stated that individuals gather along the narrow road and openly gamble in fields.

“They consume alcohol and tobacco products and litter the road and fields causing, nuisance. They are aggressive in nature, play loud noise and gamble till late night and often end up fighting ,” the locals said.

The locals have claimed that these individuals organise bullfights, patronised by hundreds of spectators who park their vehicles along the narrow road and completely block traffic movement in the locality.
