PERNEM: Pernem police have booked a case against the owner and manager of a beach resort in Morjim for causing noise pollution.
According to police, a late night party was organised at the resort on Tuesday, however, since the music played at the party was very loud, at around 1.37 am, a local complained to the police. A team of police headed by PSI Praful Giri immediately rushed to the spot and seized the DJ equipment’s since the organiser had not obtained permission from the deputy collector for organising the event.
