mapusa: Goenche Rakhondar (GR) demanded that the government reviews the decision to reopen casinos and schools and hold Sunburn.
While opposing Sunburn, which GR said is not part of Goa’s culture, Wilbur Ticlo ointed to the rising number of cases in Goa and India and said a second wave is also expected in December. He also warned that they will hold protests against Sunburn.
Dipesh Naik said opening casinos will indirectly kill Goans while also criticizing the move to stop testing of tourists at the borders’. He also expressed concern over schools reopening saying that if one person is infected, it can spread the entire class and student’s localities
