RFP for Mopa this month, says Parsekar

PANJIM: The tender for the proposed greenfield airport in Mopa will be released by the month-end, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar said on Friday.

PANJIM: The tender for the proposed greenfield airport in Mopa will be released by the month-end, Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar said on Friday.
“We have received the file from the Advocate General (Atmaram Nadkarni). Some suggestions have come to the fore that will be incorporated and Request For Proposal (RFP) document will be released by the month-end,” he said. 
Parsekar, during the monsoon session of the Assembly had announced finalizing the tender for the project by December 2015. “It is proposed to issue the Request For Proposal (RFP) and Concession Agreement to the technically qualified bidders in August 2015. The tender is likely to be finalized by December 2015,” he had said. 
The Request For Qualification (RFQ) for construction of the airport was floated on October 3, 2014 and five companies, including GMR Airports Ltd, Airports Authority of India, Essel Infra projects Limited, GVK Airport Developers Private Limited and Voluptas Developers Private Limited, had submitted their technical bids.
