Goa PWD Minister Nilesh Cabral has assured to table the inquiry report of the Vigilance Department on the alleged Rs 70cr Job Scam on the table of the House after the inquiry is completed. The Opposition continuously grilled the PWD Minister asking him to admit it is a scam and asking that the re-exam promised by the Minister, be conducted by either the Staff Selection Commission or the Goa Public Services Commission.
PWD Minister Cabral said that two agencies out of 6 empanelled agencies will not be allowed to conduct the exam. The Opposition demanded a House Committee inquiry, into the scam against which Ministers Atanasio Monserrate and Sudin Dhavalikar had previously made allegations.
