Rs 92,000 burgled at Mapusa showroom

Burglars broke into the Counto Honda showroom at Duler-Mapusa and decamped with cash of Rs 92,000 in the wee hours of Saturday.
According to Mapusa police, the burglars entered the premises sometime at about 3.30 am and stole the cash.
Police informed that a CCTV fitted in the showroom was, however, unable to give a clear picture of the culprits.
The company’s Vice President Sadanand Kuvelkar lodged a police complaint in the matter and a police team led by Mapusa PI Rajesh Kumar visited the site. A dog squad and fingerprint experts were also pressed into service. PSI Nitin Halarnkar is investigating the case.
