PANJIM: The inquiry report into the alleged molestation of a Russian woman by a Goa Medical College doctor was submitted to Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s office Thursday by North Goa Collector. Nila Mohanan who inquired into the allegations following the directions from the government, is said to have furnished a detailed report consisting of statements from witnesses including a Russian interpreter who was an eye-witness.
Mohanan declined to reveal details of the report to the media, saying it’s confidential.
An inquiry was launched based on a Herald report quoting the 32-year-old Russian tourist, who claimed she was molested by a male doctor on the pretext of examining her for a molestation case.
