RVNL personnel chased away by Goencho Ekvott and Velsao locals

RVNL senior personnel who descended to a very festive Velsao and trespassed into private properties while people were celebrating the feast of the Assumption of Our Lady and Independence Day were chased away by members of Goencho Ekvott and the locals.

Provocative actions by RVNL will not be tolerated by the villagers who have vowed to protect their ancestral land against coal transportation along the Coastal belt and towards the hinterland in the East of Goa.
