PANJIM: Rector Major Angel Fernandez Artime who arrived in Goa on Wednesday, was escorted and welcomed at the Dabolim airport by the Provincial Fr Felix Fernandes, Vice Provincial Fr Avil Rodrigues, Luis Fernandes, Bosco George, the Salesians and Don Bosco Alumni. Rector Major greeted all on his arrival and spent time posing for photos.
Rector Major is on his official visit to the Salesian Province of Panjim from March 27 to April 1. He will meet the Salesians, the Salesian Family, take first hand stock of the work and provide observation and guidance to the Salesian activities in the province.
Fr Fernandez is the head of the Salesian congregation all over the world. He has begun meeting the provincial council and the leaders of the various institutions of the Salesians in the province of Panjim.
