MAPUSA: Saligao Police in the intervening night of Friday and Saturday conducted a raid on storeroom of a wine store in Sangolda and seized liquor worth Rs 1,04,500.
According to police, 396 bottles of beer of 650 ml, 576 bottles of beer of 330 ml and eight bottles of vodka of 750 ml were confiscated.
The raiding team headed by PI Tukaram Chavan included PSI Atikesh Khedekar and Police constables Sandesh Aroskar, Vishant Mayekar, Vijay Palni, Nitesh Salgaonkar, Nandan Arabekar and Ramdas Harmalkar.
