In a recent gathering, constituents of Saquelim Constituency assembled under the banner “Mission Political Reservation for Scheduled Tribes of Goa” and called upon their Hon’ble Chief Minister, who also serves as their local Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and Tribal Minister. They fervently urged CM Pramod Sawant to secure political reservation for Scheduled Tribes in the Goa Assembly before the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. The residents voiced their collective determination to stand united and fight for their constitutional rights. The Mission Political Reservation team has diligently conducted a series of village-level meetings and door-to-door outreach initiatives over the past 20 days, spreading awareness about the pending constitutional rights of the state’s tribal communities and underscoring the importance of seat reservation in the assembly to address the longstanding demands of STs.
