TIVIM: Two robbers snatched the mangalsutra of a woman near the BSNL telephone exchange at Auchitwada-Tivim.
In her complaint, Anandi Kauthankar of Gokulwadi-Sanquelim complained that the incident took place on Sunday at about 6 pm when two persons on a black coloured motorcycle stopped her to enquire about some office timing. As they talked to her, they snatched the mangalsutra, estimated at Rs 80,000, from around her neck.
Mapusa police has registered the case.
