CALANGUTE: Calangute MLA Michael Lobo distributed saplings to the villagers of Calangute on Tuesday. The saplings were distributed in Calangute Panchayat premises in the presence of Calangute Sarpanch Geeta Laxman Parab, Deputy Sarpanch Savio Gonsalves and Panchas including Joseph Sequeira.
“We need to plant more trees to maintain the greenery of Calangute in the wake of growing threat to nature in the form of natural calamities,” said Lobo.
