PANJIM: The State government on Tuesday appointed IAS officer Smit Satija as Commissioner of Excise with immediate effect. He is from the AGMUT 2008 batch.
With Satija’s appointment, Tourism Director Menino D’Souza has been relieved of the additional charge as Commissioner of Excise.
In another order, the government appointed IAS officer Ravi Jha as Director of Information and Technology and Managing Director of Info Tech Corporation. IAS officer Ameya Abhiyankar has been relieved from both the posts.
