A 17-year-old girl from Bhuimpal-Sattari has been reported missing since Wednesday morning.
In a police complaint filed with the Valpoi police, Nali Paune stated that her daughter Gangu Vitho, who had left for school by bus on Wednesday at about 7.30 am, failed to return home after school.
When contacted, PI Shivram Vaigankar said that on enquiry with the school, the girl did not reach the school at Valpoi on Wednesday.
Till Friday, efforts by police to trace the missing girl proved futile.
