SDPI protests against fuel price hike

MARGAO, JUNE 29 The Social Democratic Party of India on Tuesday held a protest outside the South Goa District Collectorate against the exorbitant hike in fuel prices by the UPA government.

The Social Democratic Party of India on Tuesday held a protest outside the South Goa District Collectorate against the exorbitant hike in fuel prices by the UPA government.
Demanding that the UPA government frame special guidelines and policies to benefit the poor as far as fuel and essential commodities are concerned, the SDPI demanded that Prime Minister should call an all party meeting to discuss the present situation and arrive at an amicable solution to safeguard interest of the common man.
The SDPI said it will not tolerate any type of atrocities and other wrong policies affecting the common and vowed to fight tooth and nail against injustice.
Saying that the UPA government should declare all plans and strategies they want to follow for the next one year, the SDPI demanding immediate sacking of the Finance Minister and his replacement by a more efficient and capable MP for better planning and execution.
