“On this day, Goa became the 25th State of India with an expectation that Statehood would imply a greater freedom to legislate, raise finance and expedite resources for the future development of Goa,” said Muzaffar Shaikh, SDPI Goa general secretary.
SDPI listed the government’s broken promises, including the Regional Plan 2021 and curbing the drug menace.
