MAPUSA: The Mapusa municipality is experiencing a server issue which has inconvenienced the town residents in paying their house tax via online mode.

The municipality recently commenced its door-to-door online payment of house tax. However, since the past two days, the residents are facing a problem in paying house tax via online mode due to server issue thereby forcing the municipal staff to return without getting the payments done.
“Since last two days we are facing server issues with regards to the payment of house tax as a result of which the staff have to return. At present, door-to-door house tax collection underway. However, due to the server issue, people are facing problems. The issue will be discussed and we will see if we can extend the time limit since it is a technical issue. We started this service as everyone cannot visit the municipality to make the payments,” MMC chairperson Shubhangi Vaigankar said.
