In a show of discontent, workers of Sesa, had gathered in front of Sesa Ghor at Patto, Panjim, on Friday, demanding the release of their provident fund amounts. The protest, which was initially peaceful led to a tussle between the workers and the company security, after they were prevented from entering the Sesa Ghor premises. Thereafter a police force was deployed.

The protesting Sesa workers, numbering in the dozens, assembled outside Sesa Ghor to voice their concerns over the non-release of their provident fund amounts. Holding placards and expressing their grievances, the workers sought the attention of the company’s management to address their demands.

The workers alleged that despite repeated appeals and attempts to communicate with the management regarding their provident fund release, their concerns have not been adequately addressed.
