CALANGUTE: The Calangute Police on Thursday night busted a prostitution racket in Sinquirim and arrested three persons while also rescuing three girls.
A team of Calangute police headed by newly-appointed PI Nilesh Rane, along with a panch and NGO member as witnesses, laid a trap and intercepted two cars carrying girls for the purpose of the flesh trade.
The names of the arrested have been disclosed as Dinesh Sakat (Pune), Sagar Patil (Mumbai) and Majid Khan (Bhopal-MP), all presently residing at Mapusa.
