PANJIM: Congress Vice President Sankalp Amonkar appeared before the Crime Branch (CB) on Thursday, into an ongoing probe of alleged sex scandal against ex-minister Milind Naik.
His questioning lasted for a little over an hour and he is expected to be summoned again. Sources said the investigation team will scrutinise his statement to ascertain allegations against Naik. The CB is also probing another FIR wherein Amonkar and others are accused of harassing and coercing the rape survivor to depose against Naik.

Three more persons Nirbhay Narayan, Pandurang Varadkar and Priya Varadkar are summoned to appear for statement recording on January 15.
