SGPDA market to remain open for half day

MARGAO: The Market Vendors Association of the SGPDA has conveyed the decision to keep the fruit, vegetable, chicken, general and fish stores open only half a day from Wednesday for the next 8 days. 

The vendors took the decision at a meeting due to the coronavirus cases in South Goa. 

The entire SGPDA market will be kept open only for half a day from 7 am to 2 pm. 

 Felix Gonsalves, President Margao Retail Fish Vendors Association SGPDA said, “The government by not locking down has put us in more trouble. People want full lockdown. We will hence take call after 8 days to cancel or extend the arrangement”.
