SHIRODA: A meeting organized by the Shiroda Congress block, drew a large crowd from the constituency that came out in large numbers to listen to what the speakers had to convey.
Congress Candidate Reginaldo Lourenco said that over the last few days of campaigning, he has been getting a massive response from the people of South Goa and Shiroda too did not disappoint. He said he is overwhelmed by the response he is receiving from all the areas of South Goa and makes him all the more enthusiastic about working for Goans. He said he has received a lot of love from his home constituency in Cuncolim and said he will work the same way to win the hearts of all the people of Goa.
Vijai Sardesai said that the coalition govt in Goa is a front of contradiction. The MGP is opposed to the Portuguese citizenship individuals getting dual citizenship, whereas the BJP in its manifesto supports dual citizenship. So also the GVP opposes Mopa, but supports the BJP govt all meaning that the govt is a govt of contradictions.
