Shooting accused remanded to police custody

The accused arrested in the women shooting case at Guddi has been remanded to one day police custody.
The police had on Saturday evening arrested Anthony Travasso for allegedly firing two rounds from his 12-bore gun leaving a woman and her niece injured.
Maina Curtorim PI Sidhant Shirodkar said that the two women are recovering in the hospital and are out of danger. The Margao police are investigating.
