Siolim accident victim dies

MAPUSA: The third victim of the Siolim tragic accident, Milagrina Fernandes succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at the Goa Medical College (GMC) on Tuesday.
The 53-year-old was in a critical condition from the day the incident occurred on the Siolim-Chopdem Bridge.
In the shocking incident a week ago, Joao Fernandes and his son Judas, residents of Morjim, died after a Maharashtra registered car dashed into their car.
The accused driver, Shekhar Satyanarayan Dubey, a resident of Vadhwa Meadown, Bhoiwadi, Kalyan, Mumbai (W) who was drunk at the time of the accident was arrested under Section 279, 337 and 304 of IPC and is presently in judicial custody.
