SIOLIM: The mastermind behind the brutal Siolim double murder Rovina Lobo disclosed to the police that she had plans to kill her husband and complaint Julio Lobo after killing his two aunts.

According to police sources the accused after killing the two elderly women wanted to kill her husband after he returned home, however she abandoned the plan after her seven-year-old daughter who is an eye-witness to the crime run out of the house crying.
The accused feared her neighbours would come to her house and hence the two accused changed their plan and run away with the child from the crime spot.
The accused confessed she was being mentally and physically harrassed by her husband for the last several years.
Sources informed that the parents of Rovina had build a house for her as she was being harrassed. Rovina wanted to shift to this house, however, her husband had rented the house for Rs 30,000.
Since her husband was earning rent he refused to shift to the new house and neither was he giving any money received from the rent to Rovina.
Rovina also confessed that her husband had sold all her gold besides he had spend all the money she had in FD’s.
Police sources informed that whenever the family used to have quarrels or fights, Rovina would call the PCR for help but since it was a family matter, the police said they were helpless.
