MARGAO: Additional District and Sessions Judge Vincent Silva on Tuesday framed charges against Harsha Galkar, the sister who allegedly stabbed her brother to death in 2020. The murder had rocked entire south Goa.
The court has ordered to frame the charges under section 302 (murder) and 506 (11) of the IPC against Harsha.
According to the prosecution the incident took place on September 6, 2020 at Sacorda, Dharbandora.
The accused Harsha entered into an argument with her mother and brother over some issue. In the ensuing altercation, she threatened to kill her brother and mother, and in a fit of rage stabbed Keshav Galkar in the stomach, causing serious injuries. He succumbed to his injuries on September 8.
