Six fake agents arrested in Panjim

PANJIM, MAY 22
Panjim Town Police arrested six people posing as agents for providing illegal services from two different places in the city.
They said Ashok Gawas, 60, of Sanquelim, Ajay Mayekar, 36 of Socorro and Vinay Verlekar, 45 of Agassaim were operating near the Panjim RTO office and Subhash Salkar, 50, Goa Velha, Narayan Haldankar, 44, Morjim and Joaquim Fernandes, 35, Merces near the Passport Office, here.
Police said they would be produced in court tomorrow.
