SANGUEM: The Sanguem Municipal Council has commenced the pre-monsoon works in all the 10 wards of the municipality area.

The works are undertaken at the initiative of the Sanguem Municipal Council with Chairperson Romualdo Fernandes personally supervising the works in some of the wards so that the works are taken up properly.
Fernandes urged the people from Sanguem to bring to his notice if any of the works are of sub-standard quality and if the drains are not cleaned properly.
Fernandes told Herald that works undertaken under the pre-monsoon works will include cleaning of all water drains and other drainage system in the municipal areas so that there is no water logging in any part of the municipality during the monsoon season. The people from Sanguem have complimented the council for undertaking the works much before the onset of monsoon season.
