PONDA: The locals of Nagazar-Curti claimed that the sewerage pipeline, garbage and dry tree branches are the main cause for flooding of nullah during the monsoons.
A local Mangaldas Naik said, “The concerned department should find a solution to the problem by laying the sewerage pipeline properly to avoid flooding during monsoons.”

“Once this nullah was a clean source of water for drinking and bathing purposes but now with the release of waste has polluted and choked the flow of water.”
Last monsoons, two times garbage dumped got stuck to sewerage pipeline and blocked the flow of water resulting in flooding of nullah.
This caused trouble for Nagazar locals as the flooded water entered their houses.
