BICHOLIM: The Bicholim police on Wednesday zeroed in three suspects in connection with murder of a 44-year old woman from Rawan Sattari.
It may be recalled that a body of an unknown woman was found in the canal of Anjunem Dam situated at Kulan, Sanquelim, on Friday. The fact came to light after some locals spotted the body lying in the canal.

Later, the woman was identified as Dhanashree Morajkar from Rawan Sattari. The sources stated that the woman was strangulated to death and her mobile was found along the Harvalem road.
The police had detained 10 suspects and seven were released after interrogation. Today, out of the three suspects, one escaped from the police station in the morning but was later caught by the police at Vathadev, Bicholim. He was hiding himself on a tree.
The police have now zeroed in three more suspects and they are hoping to crack the case by Thursday.
North Goa SP Utkrishta Prasoon and DySP Gurudas Gawde will interrogate the suspects.
