MARGAO: The South Goa District Hospital will be ready only by September end announced Digambar Kamat who is the chairman of the Public Undertakings Committee.
He said that the committee would next be examining the Kala Mandir at Sancoale that is under construction for more than eight years now.
He said that Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation would be in a position to hand over the hospital building to the Health Department by June 30, 2019.
“As the Health Department said they will need three months to get the hospital ready once it is handed over to them, the District Hospital should be ready by Sept 30,” he said.
