VASCO: In a special drive carried out on homeless by Mormugao Municipal Council, 25 men and one woman were shifted to shelter home managed by El Shaddai NGO, at Verna after carrying out due formalities of police verification, health check-up and COVID test. The drive was held in association with Vasco Police, Urban Health Centre and KTC.

the matter was brought to the attention of Vice Chairperson Shraddha Mahale by Shalaka Kambli, social activist following which the drive was carried with the help of Councillor Devita Arolkar, community organiser of Mormugao Municipal Council Nandita Halankar, Suchita Thakker, Kiran Naik and Sudeep Dhargalkar.
