PANJIM: The State Department of Sports and Youth Affairs notified a scheme it introduced, called “Sports for Differently Abled School Children of Special Schools in Goa”.
“To provide a platform for the talented sports persons with disabilities and to provide with regular scientific training on par with International Standard to nurture their sports specific talent to excel at National and International level competition,” reads the vision statement of the scheme.

Regarding its budget allocation, an amount of Rs 48,00,000 per annum will be earmarked by the SAG.
