“Thankfully in our small state of Goa we have a variety of courses offering a wide range of fields we like. The list of career options are endless. We have so much to choose from and it all looks very exciting and cool,” said a student from Panjim.
But students have got smart and are looking to make careers out of their talents. “The selection of a career or a profession is important but turns difficult due to the lack of guiding services. Turning your talent into your career is amazing,” said a teacher.
Some young buds have already decided on their career choice. Nigel Dias from Dona Paula who expects to score over 75% is planning on hotel management and aims to be a chef. Another student, Emanual Cabral expecting a score of over 80% will be looking at continuing his education in the science stream and has even decided that he wants to do it at Fr. Agnel Higher Secondary, Pilar. Pamela Rosario will be opting for commerce and her choice of institution is the Our Lady of the Rosary Higher Secondary School, Dona Paula.

SSC results today
The SSC results will be released on Saturday at 6 pm and uploaded on at least 18 websites for the convenience of students and parents. The results will also be available through SMS and Interactive Voice Response System. The passing certificates-cum-grade mark sheets will be distributed next week. The re-evaluation of answer books, verification of marks in presence of parents or guardian and supplying of photocopies of answer books will be held on June 4, while verification of marks in absentia/presentia has been slated for June 12.
