PANJIM: Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP), through Goa State Urban Development Agency (GSUDA), will be restoring the Catholic cemetery at St Inez.
“The CCP through GSUDA is in process of carrying out restoration and up gradation of the Catholic cemetery at St Inez which includes demolition and restoration of the existing compound walls, internal walls, including those walls, which have niches containing mortal remains of the deceased,” Panjim Mayor Surendra Furtado said.
“The general public is hereby informed that the mortal remains of their near and dear ones from the niches shall be removed in the presence of their relatives of the deceased in mid-November and kept in safe custody in the cemetery itself with due package and labelling the details,” he added.
