PANJIM: The BJP government is one where the culprits can roam free, the Samajwadi party Goa State unit has said citing three high profile cases as examples where the police has failed to act and nab the culprits.
“The culprits behind the attack on St André MLA Vishnu Wagh are roaming free. The police has betrayed their lack of efficiency and are not concerned about who the brain behind the attack is,” Rohidas Shirodkar of the Samajwadi Party Goa Unit said.
He added that if a ruling MLA cannot get justice, the question of justice for a common man is out of the question.
The party also cited the case of the Canacona building collapse, where the promoters of the construction company are absconding as are government officials who were behind granting permission to the building.
They also cited cases where, on a daily basis, rapes, murders and thefts are taking place while the culprits are roaming free.
