Surl Resident Alleges Illegal Operation of Beverage Processing Plant Despite Panchayat Notices

Pramod Narvekar, a resident of Surl village, has alleged that the “Acrux Marketing” cold beverage processing plant and its associated warehouse are continuing operations illegally along the main highway despite repeated notices issued by the local Gram Panchayat.

According to Narvekar, several complaints were submitted to the Gram Panchayat regarding the project, following which a show-cause notice was reportedly issued to the establishment around four months ago. He further stated that a final notice was served in February, but the company allegedly ignored the directives and continued operating the facility.

Narvekar also alleged that the water and electricity connections being used for the project were obtained illegally.

He claimed that such alleged unauthorised projects, which he says violate established regulations, are leading to growing resentment among the youth of the village.

Calling for collective action, Narvekar urged villagers to unite and raise their voice against alleged unlawful activities and injustice in the area.
