Government of Goa has entrusted the work of conducting Survey of SC/ST/OBC/Disabled in the State to Goa State Commission for Backward Classes. The survey work is being conducted with the assistance of CDPR Pune and officials of Directorate of Planning, Statistics and Evaluation. The data collection work in respect of Taluka of Canacona, Tiswadi, Ponda, Mormugao and Salcete is in progress from December.
All concerned, including NGOs, Associations and Village Panchayats are requested to cooperate with workers engaged by the CDPR, Pune and asked to furnish correct information to ensure a foolproof survey report, says a press release.
