ASSONORA: An inspection of the upcoming hotel project site at Moitem, Assonora was conducted by Assonora talathi on Friday. A report of the inspection has been submitted to the mamlatdar.
The inspection was conducted in view of a written complaint filed by Co-convenor of Goencho Avaaz Swapnesh Sherlekar to Mamlatdar of Bardez Laxmikant Kuttikar.
According to the report, at the time of inspection there was no construction debris found at the site. However, mud was dumped at two different places and covered with net to avoid washing away of the same into the Assonora River. The report also stated that the construction activity was in progress.
During the inspection, officials from the hotel project furnished copies of the all the documents sought by the talathi. These documents have been annexed to the inspection report submitted to the mamlatdar. However, Sherlekar said that he was not happy with the inspection report.
