Taleigao house robbed of cash, gold

PANJIM, MARCH 4 
Thieves made good their escape with cash and gold worth Rs 80,000 from a house in Durgawadi Taleigao, in the early hours of the day.
According o Panjim police inspector N Raposo one Mrs Rajamma Divakaran, complained that between 10.30 pm on March 3 and 9 am March 4, when she had gone to visit her daughter some unknown persons broke open her house by breaking open the lock of the iron grill door.
She said that when she returned home she observed that cash of Rs 20,000 and gold worth Rs 60,000 were missing from her wardrobe.
A case under Sections 424, 457 and 380 of IPC has been registered at the Panjim Police Station.
