PANJIM: The Directorate of Art & Culture has organized for school students from standard V to X a competition in the field of tabla, sitar harmonium, guitar, keyboard, violin, Indian classical vocal, light music, Bharatnatyam, Kathak, monologue, western solo, drum, essay, poetry and drawing. There will be three prizes for each category at taluka level. Winners of taluka level will compete at state level competition. The date and venue of the taluka level competition will be informed accordingly. Circulars have been forwarded to school to send entries. The Department of Art and Culture has informed all the participated schools, students and teachers to note the same.
