Tatiana Schlossberg, granddaughter of former US President John F. Kennedy, has died at the age of 35. Her family announced the news in a post shared by the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, saying, “Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”
Schlossberg, a respected climate journalist and author, revealed in November that she had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and had been given less than a year to live.
She was the daughter of diplomat Caroline Kennedy and designer Edwin Schlossberg, and a member of one of America’s most prominent political families. Known for her work on environmental issues, Schlossberg made a mark through her writing and public advocacy.
Tributes have poured in remembering her life, contributions and courage in the face of illness.
