PANJIM: Upset with Calangute MLA Michael Lobo yet again being kept away from the ministry, taxi associations have threatened to agitate, if he does not get inducted in the cabinet.
“If Michael Lobo is kept out of the cabinet, then taxi owners from all over Goa will come out in his support. We want him in the cabinet because he is the only one out of 40 MLAs to raise our issue,” North Goa Taxi Owners Association general secretary Vinayak Nanoskar told Herald.
Nanoskar said Lobo was assured of a portfolio, however, keeping him out “is an insult”. Taxi owners have also threatened to work against the BJP candidate in Lok Sabha elections if Lobo is not inducted in the cabinet.
