Teenager held with stolen goods

Canacona police arrested a teenager and recovered items worth Rs 1.02 lakh allegedly stolen by him from the house of an Israeli national at Bhagatwada-Canacona.
According to Canacona police, the Israeli, Sheron Salman, had complained of theft at his place on Friday night.
Acting swiftly, police arrested a 16-year old local boy and recovered from him two laptops, Ray-Ban glasses and a PAN card, all worth Rs 1.02 lakh, which had been stolen from the Israeli’s house.
Police later shifted the boy to the Apna Ghar in Merces. Sources informed Herald that the boy is a school dropout and has been a habitual offender.
