MAPUSA: Gold chain, silver ornaments and other items worth about Rs 50,000 were stolen from a house at Sirsaim-Tivim on Tuesday. According to Mapusa police, Luizinha D’Souza complained that the incident occurred between 9.30 am and 11.45 am when some persons entered her house at Sirsaim and decamped with gold chain, silver ornaments, wrist watch and cash and foreign currency, all worth about Rs 50,000. Police is investigating the case.
