Three-day agriculture expo at Old Goa from March 2

PANJIM: Indian Council for Agriculture Research (ICAR) – Central Coastal Agricultural Institute is set to organize a three-day long Coastal Agri Expo 2019 from March 2 at Old Goa, where the improved and newer technologies will be showcased through exhibitions and demonstrations for the benefit of farmers. 
The Expo which will be held between March 2-4, is a platform for farmers-scientists, industry interface and opportunity for cross learning. 
“All the stakeholders in agriculture research, education and development will be under one roof exploring their ideas and innovations,” ICAR said. 
ICAR has announced that the innovation and technology products from the research and development organizations will be displayed to cater to the farmers need as well as to meet the challenges faced by them. The Expo will also provide an opportunity for the farmers to hold one to one interaction with the scientists and industry experts. 
The expo will see participation of ICAR, various State Agriculture Universities, Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVK), farmers, State departments like agriculture, fisheries, animal husbandry, financial and rural banking institutions, input dealers and agencies, agro processors, etc.
