Three get remand for fights in Maina, Raia

The three accused arrested by the Maina Curtorim Police for a brawl at Maina and Santimol-Raia have been remanded to five days police custody by a local court on Wednesday.
The Police had arrested Paul Fernandes, Laxman Laamani and Caitan for the offense of attempt to murder following the brawl in the bar at Maina.
Investigating Officer, PSI Suraj Samant informed that the trio was involved in a fight at Maina in the bar of Alfred Barretto. He said the accused entered into an argument with the bar owner and later assaulted him with a beer bottle, causing him grievous injuries.
The accused later proceeded towards Santimol-Raia and damaged a Maruti Van and were involved in a brawl again.
The police are investigating.
