MAPUSA: Mapusa police arrested three women for soliciting customers offering sex in Mapusa bus stand area, on Thursday.

According to Mapusa PI Tushar Lotlikar, a team of Mapusa police conducted a raid between 2.15 pm and 3.30 pm on Thursday near Sulabh toilet at Mapusa bus stand and caught the accused red handed while they were soliciting customers offering sex service.
The accused are booked under Section 8 of Immoral Traffic (prevention) Act. LPSI Vibha Volvoikar is investigating the case.
The raid was conducted a day after the Mapusa Merchants Association complained to the Municipal Chairman Ryan Braganza about sex trade being run in the market area.
