Three held for stoning bus

Mapusa police have arrested three persons in connection with the stoning of a Morjim-Mapusa bus on March 9.
According to Mapusa police, the accused Vithu Nagvekar, Vinayak Karbotkar and Rahul Tendulkar have been remanded to five days police remand.
Police further informed that the trio was earlier arrested by Porvorim police in connection with some kidnapping case.
In another case, one Siddhesh Sakharam Porob was arrested on charges of assaulting one Gopal Morajkar at Karaswado, Mapusa.
Mapusa police PI Manjunath Desai is investigating the case under the supervision of Mapusa SDPO Sammy Tavares.
